Deutsch: 24.04.2008 01067 Dresden-Altstadt: Weiße Gasse: Gänsediebbrunnen (GMP: 51.049062,13.740409). Der Gänsediebbrunnen wurde 1961 hier aufgestellt, nachdem er vorher auf dem Ferdinandplatz stand. Die Brunnefigur schuf Robert Diez, der bereits 1879 auf der Internationalen Kunstausstellung in München dafür eine Goldmedaille erhielt. Die Hermann-Stiftung hat den Gänsedieb der Stadt geschenkt. Ausgeführt wurde der Brunnen aus Granit vom Architekten Weidner, den Bronzeguß fertigte damals die Firma C. A. Bierling.
