Deutsch: 23.12.2007 01445 Radebeul-Zitschewig, Bischofsweg 1, Zitzschewiger Bischofspresse, Wohnhaus (GMP: 51.117554,13.609774). Die Befunde legen nahe, dass es sich bei der später so genannten "Bischofspresse" um ein Weingut des 18. Jahrhunderts handelt, das aus Weinberghaus und Weinpresse (hinten)) besteht, die zusammen auf einem ummauerten Grundstück stehen. Das Weinberghaus wurden von den jeweiligen Besitzern als ländliches Sommerhaus genutzt. 1755 gelangte das Anwesen an den reichen Dresdner Kauf- und Handelsherrn Gottfried Rentzsch. Das barocke Tor trägt sein Monogramm GR. Johann Georg August Rentzsch, der das Weinberggrundstück von seinem Vater erhalten hatte, vererbte es 1794 dem Dresdner Stadtchirurgus Johann Michael Eltz (gest. 1820). Dieser errichtete im Garten 1811 zur Erinnerung an seine früh verstorbene Frau einen klassizistischen Rundtempel aus heimischem Sandstein. Die letzte Besitzerin war die Witwe Bertha Wilhelmine Elisabeth Eltz, die 1951 starb und das Grundstück der Stadt Radebeul
vermachte. In der Bischofspresse waren seitdem mehrere Wohnungen untergebracht. 1994 wurde das Weinberghaus an Antje und Nikolaus Wagner verkaufte, die das baufällige Gebäude denkmalgerecht sanierten und als Wohnhaus herrichteten. Südostseite. [DSCN31031.TIF]20071223155DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
