Deutsch: 19.09.2007 01277 Dresden-Striesen: Mietshaus Voglerstraße 9 (GMP: 51.046190,13.807791): Die breitgelagerte Mietvilla Voglerstraße 9 wurde um 1899 erbaut. Das Haus besitzt eine symmetrische Fassadengliederung im Renaissancestil. Betritt man den Hauseingang in der Mitte, kommt man zuerst in ein schmales Entrée mit einer aufgemalten Wandverkleidung aus rotem und gelben Marmor. Über eine Zwischentür gelangt man in den höher liegenden Mittelflur, an den sich das breitere Treppenhaus anschließt. Der Boden ist mit reich dekorierten Mettlacher Fliesen bedeckt, während die Wände durch
Bordüren untergliedert werden. Die Ornamente in den Ecken der Wandfelder sind dem Rokoko entlehnt. Die Voglerstraße ist nach dem Dresdner Stadtrat und Bürgermeister Christoph Heinrich Vogler benannt, der zwischen 1693 und 1744 mehrfach städtische Ämter innehatte.
