Deutsch: 15.03.2007 01069 Dresden-Altstadt, Bürgerwiese: Plastik "Zwei Mütter", geschaffen 1902 vom Bildhauer Heinrich Epler (GMP: 51.041267,13.743888). Carl Heinrich Epler (geb. 5. August 1846 in Königsberg in Franken; gest. 30. April 1905 in Dresden) war ein deutscher Bildhauer und Hochschullehrer. Der Park Bürgerweise entstand auf einer ehemaligen rateigenen Viehweide im nordwestlichen Teil der heutigen Bürgerwiese. Zunächst bis 1850 nach Angaben des Hofgärtners Terscheck eine erste Anlage im Biedermeierstil. 1859 wurde P. J. Lenne hinzugezogen. Nach Lennes Entwürfen wurde unter Leitung des Gärtners Gröpke und des Garteninspektors Krause bis 1869 der heute 4,5 ha große Park angelegt. [DSCN21430.TIF]20070315040DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
