Description
Deutsch: 14.02.2007 01067 Dresden Neumarkt: Im Johanneum befindet sich heute das Verkehrsmuseum (GMP 51.051945,13.739550). Erbaut wurde das Gebäude 1586-1591 (1594) von P. Buchner als Stallhof (Marstall, Stall- und Wagenremise), vielleicht unter Mitarbeit von Giovanni Maria Nosseni. Diente auch als Rüstkammer. 1729 bis 1744 zur Gemäldegalerie umgebaut. Beim nochmaligen Umbau 1872 bis 1876 entsteht die Neorenaissance-Fassade. 1945 durch Bombardierung schwer beschädigt. Nach dem Wiederaufbau öffnete am 03.06.1956 im Stallhof das Verkehrsmuseum.
