Deutsch: 03.11.2006 01099 Dresden-Neustadt, Albertplatz: Hochhaus (GMP: 51.064091,13.746503) der Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB). Es handelt sich um das älteste Hochhaus von Dresden. Der Elfgeschosser wurde 1929 nach Plänen des Architekten Hermann Paulick in Stahlbeton-Skelettbauweise errichtet. Er galt als ein Beispiel für den architektonischen Aufbruch zur Moderne in Dresden, war aber wegen seiner Höhe sehr umstritten. Bauherr war damals die Sächsische Staatsbank, die es bis nach dem Krieg nutzte. Bei den Luftangriffen im II. Weltkrieg wegen seiner stabilen Bauweise nicht zerstört.
