Deutsch: 18.10.2006 04931 Mühlberg/Elbe, Schloßplatz 1: Schloß (GMP: 51.434819,13.210790), ursprünglich gotische Wasserburg, die auf eine slawische Befestigung zurückgeht, die im 12. Jahrhundert von den Meißner Markgrafen übernommen und ausgebaut wurde. 1535 abgebrannt, nach 1545 von einem Wettiner, dem Kurfürst Moritz, als Jagdsitz im Renaissance-Stil wieder aufgebaut. Zweigeschossige Vierflügelanlage über hohem Kellergeschoß, schlichte Giebel, in der Nordostecke Treppenturm. In der kleinen Kapelle im Ostflügel neugotischer Altar mit spätgotischen Schnitzfiguren. Nach dem Wiener Kongreß 1815 fiel Mühlberg an Preußen. Das blieb auch 1990 so, obwohl eine Mehrheit für den Anschluß an Sachsen stimmte. 1999 kaufte der Getränkehändler und Gastwirt Hartmut Schröter das Schloß und saniert es seitdem aus eingenen Mitteln.
