Deutsch: 25.09.2006 09526 Olbernhau: Marktplatz mit Blick zum Kanzleihaus, Markt 1 (GMP: 50.660688,13.335916). Im Vordergrund der Marktbrunnen (GMP: 50.661018,13.335844) von 1999. Das Kanzleihaus hatte viele Namen. Bis 1895 war es das Brauhaus des Rittergutes Olbernhau. Danach firmierte das Haus als "Hotel GERICHTSSCHÄNKE" und gehörte bis 1933 zum Rittergut. 1882-1883 wurde ein zweites Obergeschoss errichtet und 1888-1900 umfangreich renoviert und zum "ersten Haus am Platze" ernannt. 1913 wurde ein Saal angebaut. 1933 kaufte die Stadt Olbernhau das Rittergut und die "Gerichtsschänke" wurde Eigentum des Olbernhauer Kaufmanns Bernhard Eisold. Ab 1945 wurde daraus das "VOLKSHAUS". Ich erinnere mich an eine herrliche Kinderweihnachtsfeier des HO-Kreisbetriebes Marienberg etwa 1955 im großen Saal im Obergeschoß und auch daran, daß der Fußboden erheblich schwankte. Bald danach wurde das Haus wegen Baufälligkeit geschlossen. Nach der Instandsetzung wurde am 10.12.1971 hier das Hotel "STADT OLBERNHAU" mit separater Weinstube eröffnet. Nach 1990 (nach der Wende) wurde das Hotel nicht mehr genutzt und am 31.03.1993 durch einen Brand zerstört. Das umgebaute Haus wurde 1996 als KANZLEIHAUS wiedereröffnet.
