Deutsch: 25.04.2006 01097 Dresden-Innere Neustadt: Villa Eschebach, Georgenstraße 6 (GMP: 51.062611,13.747618). Bauherr war der Industrielle Carl Eschebach. 1903 war das Gebäude am
Albertplatz bezugsfertig. Der Architekt stammte vermutlich aus dem Umfeld von Gustv Fröhlich. Die Villa selbst ist Neobarock. Das angebaute Palmenhaus ist ein Eisenskelettbau. 1924 erwarb die Sächsisch-Böhmische Dampfschiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft die Villa. 1945 wurde sie beim Luftangriff getroffen. Die innere Ausstattung, der gesamte Ausbau, ging verloren, darunter die Wand- und Deckengemälde des Malers Ermenegildo Antonio Donaldini. Von 1995 bis 1997 saniert. Sitz der Dresdner Volks- und Raiffeisenbank. Das schmiedeeiserne Grundstückstor zu Villa Eschebach schuf um 1904 Carl Friedrich August Kühnscherf. [DSCN9644.TIF]20060425040DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
