Deutsch: 05.04.2005 09623 Frauenstein/Erzg.; Burgruine und Schloß Frauenstein (GMP: 50.803598,13.538838). Um 1200 kam es zum Bau einer Schutzburg durch die Markgrafen von Meißen (1272 genannt). 1473 gelangt sie in den Besitz der Familie von Schönberg, die dort von 1579 bis 1585 haus halten. Nach 1588 beginnt der Verfall der Burg. 1728 abgebrannt und seither Ruine. Der kurfürstliche Rat und Oberhauptmann Heinrich von Schönberg (1549-1616), bewohnte als letzter Feudalherr noch die Burg Frauenstein. Er ließ unter Leitung des kurfürstlichen Baumeisters Hans Irmisch von 1585 bis 1588 das Renaissanceschloß erbauen. Sicht von Osten. [DSCN6251.TIF]20050405540DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
