Vixen Red. The BA Falcon was built from Sept 2002- Oct 2005. The BA was a major update on the AU, all panels were changed except the doors, interior new as well, now a lot better looking car. All sedans now got independent rear suspension. Good news was the GT was back and not just as a limited edition. Tickford Vehicle Engineering, built performance cars for Ford from 1992-02, when they were bought out by Prodrive. From 2003-14, Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) took over the job of building the performance models for Ford Australia. Available in 2003 in the BA range was the GT and GT-P sedans or the Pursuit Ute With the introduction of the 2004 BA Mk II, The Super Pursuit Ute and the Turbo 6 cyl F6 Typhoon sedan and F6 Tornado ute became available. The GT and GT-P now got bonnet decals and 6 speed trans. Standard on the GT was ABS and Traction Control Optional on the GT was Climate Control and Brembo brakes, standard on the GT-P Colours; Mercury Silver, Silhouette, Winter White, Phantom, Venom, Blood Orange, Citric Acid, Acid Rush, Blue Print, Congo Green Engine; FPV Engineered Boss 290kw 5.4 litre V8 Photographed at Blue Sunday, the last week of the Australian Falcon production |
