Description

Mercury Silver. The BA Falcon was built from Sept 2002- Oct 2005. The BA was a major update on the AU, all panels were changed except the doors, interior new as well, now a lot better looking car. All sedans now got independent rear suspension. The 4.0 6 cyl was improved too, and a turbocharged version was available in the XR6. The Windsor 5.0 V8 was replaced by the Modular 5.4 V8. Base model was the XT; manual trans (auto option) air con Then Futura; body coloured mirrors, cruise control, alloys Fairmont; traction control, cruise control, chrome grille surround Fairmont Ghia; as above plus leather, woodgrain and LCD screen The sporty models were the XR6 and XR8; Sports interior, running gear and body work. Turbo option on the 6. The 2004 BA MkII got new alloys and a 6 speed trans was available, GTs got bonnet decals Engines; 182kw 4.0 6, 240kw turbocharged 4.0 6, 220 and 260kw 5.4 V8.
