Deutsch: 23.07.2004 01328 Dresden-Schönfeld, Am Schloß (GMP: 51.032593,13.895302): Das Schönfelder Schloß ist das am besten erhaltene Renaissanceschloss im östlichen Sachsen. 1568 kaufte der sächsische Kanzler Dr. Georg Cracow das Rittergut Schönfeld und ließ sich 1573/74 das Wasserschloß errichten. In der DDR war das Schloß Volkseigentum. In ihm waren Kindergarten, ein Kinosaal die Gemeindebücherei und Unterrichtsräume. 1994 begann die Sanierung. Links daneben die Dorfkirche, deren Geschichte bis in das 13. Jahrhundert zurück geht. Der Umbau ist für 1676 nachgewiesen, Turmobergeschoß mit Haube und Laterne folgten 1896. Sicht von Nordwesten.
