Description
Deutsch: 03.07.2004 15306 Gusow (Gusow-Platkow), Schloßstraße 7: Ursprünglich barockes, heute neogotisches Wasserschloß (GMP: 52.572268,14.346212). Das Schloß Gusow geht auf ein Gutshaus zurück, das bereits Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts existiert hatte. Das barocke Schloß und sein Park wurden 1745 errichtet. 1870-1873 wurde das Schloß nach Plänen von Ferdinand Neubart im Stil der Neogotik umgestaltet. 1943 wurde im Schloß Gusow ein Kriegsaltersheim eingerichtet, in welchem ältere Menschen aus den ausgebombten Städten eine vorübergehende Bleibe fanden. Gegen Kriegsende bezog die Wehrmacht Schloß Gusow und richtete unter anderem Gefechtsstände ein. Nach dem Krieg ging das Schloß in den Besitz der Gemeinde über, die es 1992 an den Architekten Peter Engelhardt aus Berlin verkaufte. Heute ist im Schloß ein Restaurant mit Pension, zugleich 'Museum zur brandenburgisch-preußischen Geschichte' und ein Zinnfigurenmuseum. Parkseite. [DSCN4762.JPG]20040703460DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
