Deutsch: 20.05.2004 09526 Olbernhau: Marktplatz, dahinter Wirtschaftsgebäude des Rittergutes. Mittig die Zufahrt zum Gutshof. Im rechten Haus (Markt 7) ist das Heimatmuseum. Die Stadtkirche (GMP: 50.661331,13.335004) in Nord-S-Ausrichtung wurde 1599 an der Stelle eines älteren Kirchgebäudes errichtet u. 1639 erneuert. Olbernhau entstand aus einer deutschen Ostsiedlung. 1346 wurde es zum ersten mal urkundlich erwähnt in einer Matrikel des Bistums Meißen. 1434 wird d. Ort Albernhaw genannt. Von 1699 - 1759 war der Ort Sitz des Amtes Lauterstein. In dieser Zeit begann man auch mit der Anlage des Marktplatzes. Das 1654 zum Rittergut erhobene Lehngut von Magnus Oehmichen brannte 1767 ab und wurde unmittelbar darauf in der Form neu errichtet, wie es sich heute präsentiert.
