Deutsch: 16.05.2004 01561 Zabeltitz, Am Park 1: Neues Palais (GMP: 51.353449,13.495867). Im Jahre 1728 schenkte Kurfürst Friedrich I. Zabeltitz dem Grafen Christian August von Wackerbarth, der das vorhandene alte Pflugk'sche Renaissanceschloß durch Johann Christoph Knöffel bis 1730 zum Palais umbauen und in dessen Hauptachse einen ausgedehnten Park im französischen Stil anlegen ließ. Seit 1768 befand sich das Palais im Besitz von Kurfürst Friedrich August III., der Zabeltitz dem Prinzen Xaver schenkte. Blickfang im Park ist der 160 m lange Spiegelteich (GMP: 51.354070,13.493830). Der Park zählt zu den größten und bedeutendsten Parkanlagen Sachsens. Unter Prinz Xaver kamen englische Gartenkünste zum Ausbau.
