Description
Deutsch: 22.04.2004 01097 Dresden-Innere Neustadt: Hauptstraße 13 (GMP: 51.060006,13.742810), Kügelgenhaus, (auch Haus Gottessegen). Erbaut 1697/1699, Umbau 1750, errichtet nach Plänen von Michael Burger. Ab 1808 Wohnung des Malers Franz Gerhard von Kügelgen, der hier einen Salon unterhielt. 1979 saniert. Seit 1981 ist im Haus das Museum der Dresdner Romantik. Die Hauptstraße entstand bis 1730 nach Plänen von Wolf Caspar von Klengel. Der Großteil der alten Bebauung wurde bei der Bombardierung 1945 zerstört. Der Wiederaufbau erfolgte in der DDR 1974 bis 1980. Das alte Straßenkonzept wurde dabei aufgegeben und ein Großteil mit fünfgeschossigen Plattenbauten mit Läden im Erdgeschoß bebaut. Auf der westlichen Straßenseite wurde die alte Bebauung aus dem 18.
