Deutsch: 27.03.2004 01844 Langburkersdorf (Hohwald -> Neustadt/Sa.), Dammstraße (GMP: 51.023150,14.233987): Wasserschloß, das in seinen Grundmauern wohl aus dem 9. Jahrhundert stammt. Erstmals erwähnt wurde das Gut allerdings erst 1423. Die mittelalterliche Wasserburg brannte 1584 ab und wurde im Renaissancestil um 1611 wieder aufgebaut. Bauherr war der Amtshauptmann und kurfürstliche Rat Hans Georg Wehse. Nach seinem Tod wechselten die Eigentümer. 1925 verkaufte der letzte
Rittergutsbesitzer das Schloß an die Landesversicherungsanstalt Sachsen. Der Herrensitz diente seitdem als Wohnheim für betagte Männer, Erholungsheim für kinderreiche Mütter, Tuberkulose-Heilstätte und Altersheim - bis 1999. Im Dezember 2000 kaufte die Gemeinde Hohwald den einstigen Herrensitz und begann mit der Sanierung. Ein Förder- und Heimatverein ist ebenfalls aktiv. Sicht von Nordwesten.
