Description
Deutsch: 05.09.2003 01109 Dresden-Hellerau: Marktbebauung Gartenseite (v.l.n.r.) Markt 6, 5, 4, .... (GMP: 51.109122,13.760968). Die "Erste Gartenstadt Deutschlands" wurde auf vormals Rähnitzer und Klotzscher Flur nach englischem Vorbild gegründet. Bebauungsplan 1907/08 von Richard Riemerschmid. Die Bauausführung erfolgte von 1909 bis 1914 mit späteren Ergänzungen. Die Entwürfe für die Wohngebiete stammen u.a. von den Architekten Richard Riemerschmid (u.a. Wohnhausgruppen mit Läden am Marktplatz), Heinrich Tessenow und Hermann Muthesius. Der Architekt Rudolf Kolbe vervollständigte in den Jahren 1929 und 1930 die Marktplatzbebauung.
