Description

Deutsch: 05.09.2003 Dresden-Klotzsche, Zur Neuen Brücke 4a: Bahnhof Klotzsche (GMP: 51.114326,13.788485). Das heute vorhandene Bahnhofsgebäude wurde 1907 im Jugendstil erbaut. Zunächst fuhren die Züge der 1845 eröffneten Sächsisch-Schlesischen-Eisenbahn an Klotzsche vorbei. Erst 1873 richtete die Königlich Sächsische Staatseisenbahn den Haltepunkt Klotzsche-Königswald ein. Der Bahnanschluß förderte ab 1875 die Entstehung des Kurorts Königswald am Rande der Dresdner Heide. Gründer war August Wilhelm Quosdorf, der am Eisenbahnhaltepunkt Klotzsche einige Grundstücke aus königlichem Besitz erwarb und diese zur Bebauung mit Villen weiterverkaufte.
