Summary

[edit]
Description
English: August 19, 2001 Water was pumped from Curlew Lake at the Curlew Lake State Park boat launch by tanker engines to assist the ground crew fighting the Mount Leona Complex fires a few miles to the North east of the Lake. One of the engines parked too far down the boat launch and slid into the lake, resulting in a separate engine needing to come and pull it back out.
