Description These Series 3 XR8s put out a decent enough 220kw from their 4.9L windsors, which wasn't too far off the 225kw of the 5.7L VX SS of the time. The difference being the Ford had a virtually handbuilt motor to extract every bit of power while the Holden was in a much more relaxed state of tune, as seen with it's ever improving power outputs.
