Summary

[edit]
Description The Avalon was originally designed and built for the North American market and was built by Toyota in the US in 1994. In 1999 when production ended, the tooling for the car was sent over to Toyota Australia, where Toyota released it as an all new car in 2000, 6 years after it was first released in the US!! It was bigger than the Camry and had a 3.0L V6 engine and was meant to take on the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore, but sales never took off. It all ended in 2005 .
