| Description |
Deutsch: Die Entschuldungsglocke war ein Zeichen der Diözese Trier zum Erlassjahr 2000 für Länder wie Bolivien, die ihre Auslandsschulden kaum begleichen können. Am 8. Dezember 2000 wurde sie von Bischof Hermann-Josef Spital geweiht und anschließend durch das gesamte Bistum transportiert, um an 60 Stationen Halt zu machen und für die Bolivienpartnerschaft zu werben. Sie trägt außer dem Logo des Erlassjahrs und den Namen der Dekanate die Aufschrift „Entwicklung braucht Entschuldung“. Am 11. April 2003 wurde die Entschuldungsglocke vor dem Eingang der Kathedrale in Sichtweite des bolivianischen Präsidentenpalasts in La Paz in einem speziell errichteten Turm aufgehängt. – Das Foto zeigt die Glocke in Kärlich. |
