1) Silver shilling of Elizabeth I Dated to 1602

Obverse: crowned bust left.

Obverse inscription: ELIZAB: D G ANG FR ET HIB REGI

Reverse: shield on long cross fourchée

Reverse inscription: POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV

Mint mark: 2

Diameter 30mm, weight 5.43g, die axes 4 o'clock

2) Silver shilling of Elizabeth I Dated to 1558-1603

Obverse: crowned bust left.

Obverse inscription: ELI[ZAB: D G ANG FR ET] HIB REGI

Reverse: shield on long cross fourchée

Reverse inscription: POSVI DE[V ADIVTOREM MEV]

Mint mark: unreadable

Diameter 25mm, weight 4.06g, die axes 11 o'clock

Note: not only is this coin very worn it is also heavily clipped resulting in the loss of almost the entire inscription
