Description
English: U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Garrison Medina, 86th Operations Support Squadron, Air Traffic Control Standards and Evaluations noncommissioned officer in charge, measures distance on a runway in preparation for an airdrop at Base Aérienne Grostenquin, France, Aug. 26, 2022. The 1st Combat Communications Squadron facilitated an airdrop alongside the 37th Airlift Squadron who was using mobile Link 16 equipment for the first time, enabling Airmen to communicate with aircrews from much further away than with standard voice communication systems.
