Summary

[edit]
Description

1/16" (1.5mm) square is good for the basic fuselage stick of a small, lightweight, glider. The fuselage is a single piece, 6 1/2" (6.5" aka 165mm) long. Two small pieces, 1" (25mm) long make a nice wide spot to glue the wing to. None of these dimensions are critical and scissors, fingers, finger or toe nail clippers, a knife or very small saw, or a proper X-acto hobby knife are all perfectly usable to cut the pieces.

The 1/8" (3mm) stock is even lower precision, if that's possible, its the big, thick piece for the nose that can bonk into obstacles, have the balance weight attached to it, etc. It should overlap the wing joint, some, and not be so big that tail weights is required for balance. If you're going to buy something, buy 1/8", but if you have other sizes or shapes or materials, try them.
