Description
English: 1 sherd of earthernware pottery with abundant fine sand (> 1 mm) temper and occasional haematite pieces (up to 1 mm). The exterior and interior surfaces are oxidised to a pale orangey pink whilst the core is buff in colour. There is some sooting on the exterior surface. A damaged rim sherd from near the rim, probably from a jar. Heavily abraded. Probably 13th to early 14th century coarseware from East Dorset industries. Weight: 15 g
