Description

Il s'agit du Nieuport 17 N° 1430 de l'adjudant Pierre Besnier de l'escadrille N 62 (insigne cocq Blanc sur le fuselage que l'on distingue) La photo montre la photo de l'accident dont il a été victime le 19 Aout 1916 (perte de vitesse + glissade sur l'aile) Besnier a été évacué avec une fracture du crâne et plusieurs fractures des membres L'adjudant Besnier n'a pas survécu à ses blessures et est décédé le 2 Septembre 1916 (28.11.1885-02.09.1916) - Source Bruno de histoirémilitaria

This is the Nieuport 17 number n° 1430 of Warant Officer Pierre Besnier white cocq badge on the fuselage The photo shows the picture of the accident he suffered Aug. 19, 1916 (loss of speed + slide on the wing) The pilot was evacuated with a skull fracture and multiple fractures

Besnier did not survive his injuries and died on 2 September 1916
