Description
Deutsch: Appenweier 1997. Ausbauarbeiten an der Rheintalstrecke in der Ortslage Appenweier-Urloffen (etwa in der Bildmitte kann man das markante Produkltionsgebäude der Firma Scheurich ausmachen, Urloffen befindet sich links der Strecke). Der Blick aus dem letzten Waggon eines auf der alten Strecke nach Offenburg fahrenden Intercity-Zuges läßt den Baufortschritt der neuen, von Lärmschutzwänden eingehegten Streckenführung der Ausbautrasse in ihrer Gesamtheit erkennen. Rechts zweigt die Renchtalbahn von der Hauptstrecke in Richtung Oberkirch und Bad Griesbach ab.
