Green on white plate stands for private vehicles. The two Japanese letters on top of the number plate (大阪) indicate the prefecture and municipality, in this case Osaka (Neyagawa). The two digit numbers above the registration denotes the vehicle class which was issued between 1967 and 1999. 71 (70-79) stands for "Passenger car with displacement from 660cc to 2000cc and shorter than 4.7 metres, narrower than 1.7 metres ('overflow' series)" which was issued between 1967 and 1999. The lower end of the number plate consist of one small Japanese letter (や) followed by two numbers, a hyphen and two more numbers (37-81). Taken at the National Metro & Mini Show 2021 |
