| Description |
Replacing the T series Bentleys was the Mulsanne, it was built from 1980-92 and then again from 2010. They shared most features with the Rolls Royce Silver Spirit / Silver Spur including the 6750cc Rolls Royce V8 engine. Also the highly polished walnut veneered fascia, blemish-free leather and carpets and headlining of pure wool for the interior. The rectangular headlamps from the 1980s gave way to quad round units for 1989 A more powerful turbocharged option was available from 1982, from 1985 was called the Turbo R, a fuel injected version.
