PU1593 Yes, the Sierra was sold here in NZ - initially only as the estate in 1984, but later as the Sapphire. As Ford NZ's mid-sizer was already the Telstar, the Sierra was marketed as a more upmarket choice, and was available in saloon and estate forms. I have seen two estates recently - one MkI and one MkII. This is the first Sapphire I have seen for a while. Seen in the USA Day car park, Woodend, North Canterbury. |
