Description
Deutsch: 27.08.1987 DDR 8305 [01824] Königstein: Festung Königstein (GMP: 50.919187,14.05676). Auffahrt vor der westlichen Festungsmauer. Links hinten die Georgenburg (GMP: 50.920627,14.056485). Davor die Georgenbatterie (GMP: 50.920572,14.056217). "Auf dem Stein des Königs" unterzeichnete König Wenzel I. 1241 einen Grenzvertrag mit dem Bistum Meißen. 1406 kam die Herrschaft Königstein in wettinischen Besitz, nachdem Markgraf Wilhelm I. von Meißen die Burg erobert hatte.
