Description
Deutsch: 13.05.1987 DDR 2080 [17235] Neustrelitz: Schloßpark, ursprünglich Barockanlage (1732 von J. Löwe), um 1825 in Landschaftspark umgewandelt. Der Luisentempel wurde 1891 als Gedächtnishalle für die 1810 auf Schloß Hohenzieritz verstorbene preußische Königin Luise von Mecklenburg-Strelitz errichtet. Der Innenraum ist mit farbigem italienischem Marmor verkleidet. In der Mitte steht die Kopie eines 1827 von Christian Daniel Rauch geschaffenen Sarkophags mit der darauf ruhenden Gestalt der Königin.
