Description
Deutsch: 09.09.1986 DDR 2510 [18055] Rostock, Universitätsplatz, Kröpeliner Straße / Ecke Breite Straße: Das "Fünfgiebelhaus" (GMP: 54.088600,12.134050) in industrieller Plattenbauweise ist in Anlehnung an historische Backsteinbauten mit Klinkern belegt. Die Planung stammt vom Kollektiv Prof. Peter Baumbach. Ausgeführt wurde das Gebäude vom VEB Wohnungsbaukombinat Rostock. An der Fassade des Eckhauses ist ein aus 32 Brozeglocken bestehendes Glockenspiel. Im Vordergrund der "Brunnen der Lebensfreude" von den Bildhauern Jo Jastram und Reinhard Dietrich.
