Deutsch: 13.08.1986 DDR-9900 [08523] Plauen: Gottesackerkirche -> 1883 in Lutherkirche (GMP: 50.495528,12.133841) umbenannt. Entstanden 1693 - 1722 als eine der ersten Zentralkrichen im sächsischen Raum. 1708 wurde der Turm unter Dach gebracht. Das Schiff konnte erst 1722 vollendet werden. Die Lutherkirche ist die zweitälteste Kirche in Plauen und führt den Beinamen Bartholomäuskirche. Lange Zeit war sie die Friedhofskirche von Plauen. Direkt daneben lag der 1548 angelegte Friedhof (Gottesacker). 1813, nach der Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig, diente sie als Lazarett. Mit der Gründung der Luthergemeinde, durch die Parochialteilung am 3. April 1893, wurde sie Pfarrkirche der Luthergemeinde in Plauen. 1900 erfolgte eine bauliche Erneuerung. [R19860811B10.TIF]19860813500NR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
