Description
Deutsch: 11.08.1986 DDR 9540 [08056] Zwickau: Dom St. Marien (GMP: 50.717849,12.495110). 1206 gegründet als Marienkirche. Seit 1935 Dom. Heute älteste Teile sind der Turmunterbau u. seine beiden Seitenhallen, nach dem Kirchenbrand 1383 errichtet. 1453 begann der Neubau des Hallenchores, 1470 fertiggestellt. Bis 1483 weitere Anbauten im Norden und Süden durch Nickel Eichhorn. 1506-1537 durch Peter Harlaß und Caspar Teicher Hallenlanghaus mit Sakristei und Chorempore sowie netz- und sternförmige Rippengewölbe. 1677 barocker Turmaufsatz (Höhe 87 m) von Joachim Marquard.
