Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 1978 AMC Matador four-door station wagon. All Matadors came with a long list of standard equipment and features. The station wagons offered two- or three-rows of seats for six or eight passengers. All wagons included a two-way tailgate - opening with the rear window retracted as a door hinged on the left side or down on the bottom hinges to extend the load floor. All wagons came with AMC's 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine. This two-row Matador wagon is finished in Autumn Red and has aftermarket road wheels. The 1978 model year was the final production of the Matador line.
