Description

JK2347 Well, this was a surprise! The 2 Litre GL was Australian-only and utilised the Ford Pinto motor. This particular Escort has been optioned with the 'Sport' pack. I spoke to the owner, who can be seen fiddling around inside the car, who said he brought the car with him when he moved to NZ in 1979, hence the slightly newer plate.

Does anybody have any more information on the Aussie 2 Litre GL? Wikipedia is very vague on this model and seems to direct me to the RS2000/Mexico each time...
