Description

The XB Falcon was built from Sept 1973- July 1976. The XA got a facelift in 1973; the XB was introduced, it got a more pronounced nose due to the reworking of the bonnet. It also got a divided honeycombgrille, more conventional taillights and new bumpers. The Falcon now with 4 wheel disc brakes. The GS and GT bonnet got new hood scoops, the design reminiscent of the 1971-73 U.S. Mustang Engines; 250 6 or 302 and 351 V8s (now all locally built). Sedan; Standard, 500, Fairmont and GT Hardtop: 500, Fairmont, GT and limited John Goss Special Wagon; Standard, 500 and Fairmont Also Utility and Panel Van in Standard and 500

To celebrate John Goss winning Bathurst in 1974 this limited edition special was introduced. They were built from August 1975 and just 260 were made. They only came with the 302 Cleveland V8 and available in two unique colour combinations; Polar White /Apollo Blue also Polar White /Emerald Fire, both with the Orange stripe, large 302 decals and white interiors. They got all the GS features, which included GT dash, steering wheel and bonnet pins, also the GT side scoops and console.
