Description

RARE I

I seriously thought this was a DeLorean when I first saw it from a distance, and the Bricklin's history is oddly similar to that of the DeLorean. It was the creation of American millionaire Malcolm Bricklin, who persuaded the Canadian government to fund this bohemoth. SV stands for Safety Vehicle, as this had an integrated roll cage, 5 mph bumpers and side beams. It also didn't have a cigarette lighter or ashtray, as Bricklin thought smoking while driving was unsafe. The project inevitably failed, however, and Bricklin ended up owing the Canadian government $23 million dollars. This particular example was in fantastic condition.
