Description

Mulberry. 351 V8 The XA got a facelift in 1973; the XB was introduced. now with 4 wheel disc brakes, it got a more pronounced nose due to the reworking of the bonnet, revised divided honeycombgrille, more conventional taillights and new bumpers. The GS and GT bonnet got new hood scoops. The design was very reminiscent of the 1971-73 U.S. Mustang The Hardtop was available as 500, Fairmont, (both available with the GS option), 351 GT and Limited Edition 302 John Goss Special(5400 XB Falcon 500 Hardtops built) Built from Sept 73-July 76 Engines; 250 6 or 302 and 351 V8s (now all locally built). The GS came with; Outside; Now straight GS stripes (similar to XW GT), GT bonnet with twin scoops, 12 slot rims, Inside; GT full instrumentation, and rim blow steering wheel, but with GS insignia instead of GT insignia On top of this other options available were; Bucket seats, console, floor shift, driving lights, disc brakes, air con, vinyl roof, sunroof, 302 or 351 V8
