Vintage Red. The VJ was a facelifted version of the all Australian designed and built VH, a new grille and back to round headlights. No RT Chargers or Pacers were available from the VJ range on, Very few 6 pack Chargers were made in the VJ range; 154 of these more subtle E48s (122 base models, 16 XLs and 16 770s) similar to the VH E48 specs with 265 cu in Hemi, and 6 pack carbys (triple side-draught Webers) 4 speed manual trans, producing 248 hp. Only 4 302 hp E49 spec cars were made. 212 340 V8 E55 Chargers were made (275 hp) and a few 360 V8 E57s. |
