English: 1973 AMC Ambassador Brougham, built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This is a full-size luxury sedan riding on a 122 inch (3,099 mm) wheelbase with an overall length of 212.8 inches (5,405 mm). This car is finished in Fawn Beige (acrylic enamel paint code E6) with a coarse-grain textured cinnamon vinyl roof and a matching interior. The 1973 Ambassadors came only in one high-level Brougham trim, and included numerous standard features (air conditioning, power steering, power disk brakes, whitewall tires, AM radio, visibility group, light group, undercoating, etc. Options on this car include AM/FM stereo radio (AM was standard) as well as an 8-track tape player (mounted below the dashboard), cruise control, a "sports" steering wheel, and AMC's "custom" wheel covers. The side window shades are a dealer accessory. The odometer on this car shows 90,000 miles. Picture taken at the 52nd Annual "Das Awkscht Fescht" antique car show in Macungie, Pennsylvania. |
