Description
English: 1972 AMC Javelin AMX, a muscle car in the "pony car" market segment, was car made by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This car has the Go-Package with AMC's 401 cubic inch (6.6 L) 4-barrel V8 engine and an automatic transmission. It has AMC's optional 15-inch "Machine" styled road wheels and the hood stripe in black. The 1972 model year featured a new design for the rear lights and a bright overlay. The trunk lid-mounted ducktail spoiler was standard equipment on these high-performance models.
  • These pictures were taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention in June 2024, organized by the Potomac Ramblers Club. Most events were held at the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum in Petersburg, Virginia.
