Deutsch: 13.11.1971 DDR 7262 [04774] Dahlen, Schloßstraße: Barockschloß (GMP: 51.367496,12.995934). Das Dahlener Schloß gehörte einstmals zu den prächtigsten Adelssitzen in Sachsen. Erbaut wurde es durch den Grafen Heinrich von Bünau (1697-1762) der das Rittergut Dahlen durch Heirat 1721 in seinen Besitz gebracht hatte. Das 1744 bis 1751 erbaute Schloß besteht aus einem Mitteltrakt und zwei Seitenflügeln, die sowohl auf der Hof- als auch auf der Gartenseite hervortreten. Dadurch entsteht im Grundriss die Form eines H. Die Mitte wird durch einen Eingangsrisalit betont. Auf dem geschwungenen Giebelfeld sind Löwen dargestellt, die das Wappen des Grafen tragen. Der Baumeister des Schlosses ist nicht bekannt, doch vieles spricht dafür, dass der Oberlandbaumeister Johann Christoph Knöffel (1686-1752) am Entwurf beteiligt war. Hier das Hauptportal im Ehrenhof.
