[edit]Description1970 Morris Nomad Hatchback (13673400295).jpg |
The Morris Nomad was produced by Leyland Australia from 1969-72. It was a hatchback version of the Morris 1500 sedan. The first Australian built ADO16 was the 1964 Morris 1100. Updated in 1967 by the Morris S, with 1275cc engine. And again in 1969 by the Morris 1500, with a distinctive new front grille and 1500cc OHC engine from the UK Austin Maxi. The Nomad was released at the same time, even more like the Maxi with its hatchback. Replaced in 1972 by the Morris Marina. |
