New Zealand. The Viva was a small car produced by Vauxhall, it went thru 3 styles from 1963-79. The first, the HA and was built from 1963-66, in base or deluxe, not only were they built in England, but in and in New Zealand by GMNZ and in Australia by GMH. The second was the HB Viva, built from 1966-70, a larger car than the HA, featuring coke bottle styling, and was modelled after American General Motors (GM) models such as the Chevrolet Impala/Caprice of the period. available as a 2 or 4 door Saloon and a 3 door Estate A variant of the HB Viva was also built in Australia, by General Motors Holden from 1967 to 1969 and marketed there as the Holden HB Torana.[ Oddly enough despite being closer in physical location to Australia, all HB Vivas sold in New Zealand were produced from CKD kits imported from the UK and sold as Vauxhalls.
