Description

I was stunned to see this wedged in the garden alongside the red SD1 Vitesse! God knows how long this has been here, just metres from a busy Christchurch road as these sorts of finds oddly often seem to be. MG 1100s would have to be the rarest of all ADO16s in NZ; they were the only ADO16 variant available in NZ in 2 door form like this dead example.

All these Rovers and MGs are at the same property, so clearly a fan/hoarder.

EDIT: Found it on CarJam; registered EG2827, it is a 1969 and actually a 1300. Its last odometer reading was in 1986 and its registration was cancelled in 1995, so it has likely been here between 22 and 31 years...
